When it comes to making a movie, the most important thing is what shows up on screen. In this session, we’re going to hear from a master cinematographer who has worked on some of the biggest films in cinema history. We’ll cover all the elements of effective cinematography, including how to tell an engaging story by maximizing your lights, angles, camera motions, and more. You won’t want to miss this!

- What pitfalls to avoid as a director of photography or cinematographer;
- The creative relationship between the director and the cinematographer.
Instructor: Matthew Lloyd has worked as a cinematographer and director of photography in film and television for over 15 years. His works have included some of the biggest projects to hit the screen, including Thor: Ragnarok, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Power Rangers, Daredevil, Fargo, Robot & Frank, The Defenders, and is in the midst of filming The Water Man with David Oyelowo.
